I've often thought about Jeff and wondered what happened to him.  It wasn't until I saw the memory tree at the reunion that I found out he had passed away.  He was a fun guy with a great personality.  Did I mention talented.  He could sing, dance, play drums and who knows what else.  He could imitate a lot of people...Dave Kenty being one of them.  He could mimic their voice and neuances perfectlly.  He was cut out to be a comedian.  What a nice guy we was.

I did not realize Jeff had passed away.  He lived not too far from me.  I remember him well.  Betty, you are so right about his many talents.  He was my friend.

Jeff and I were very close friends in junior high school days.  Of course we were in 'The Kra-Wens' band .  We would always end up at my parents house, both loving to play drums.  He would choose a record to play drums to and them I would do the same.  This would go on for hours.  True story here.   Hadn't seen or talked to Jeff in years.  Mid to late 80's I think, he hosted his own radio program on WCLT playing oldies.  I happened to be listening this particular night and he asked for requests.  So I called the phone number.  When he answered he asked for my request.  I asked him to play a song by The Kra-Wens.  This of course a song I knew he would be familiar with as it was an original song written by one of the bands members.  Complete silence for a moment.  I started laughing.  He said 'Danny, is that you?'  I confessed and we both had a laugh.  Probably one of my last conversations with him .  Oh the memories.  I do have pics of the band as well as recordings.  I lost two great friends from that band; Jeff and John Williams.  Both Central Junior High grads.  I did have the great pleasure of playing music with Jeff's brother John Wise.  We shared a lot of stories .  RIP my dear friend.

I too agree with Betty and Charlotte in what a fine personality Jeff had. You knew he was your friend.  My mind goes back to seeing him in his band uniform always smiling and thinking of others. He always made you feel included.  I too didn't realize that he had passed away until seeing Betty and then Charlotte's comments.
