Howard L. Garman

NEWARK: Howard L. Garman, 66 of Newark passed away at his home on Wednesday February 8, 2012 after losing his battle with cancer.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Dorothy Garman; and brothers Alen and Bill.

Howard is survived by his children Linda Garman (James Kendall) and Chuck Garman (Lori) Garman; sisters Mary, Goldie, and Nellie; grandchildren Alicia, Tierra, Nicole, Christine, LeAnn, Tate, Caden and Alyvia Garman; numerous nieces and nephews; best friends Butch and Barb Wilcox; and many other friends.

Howard proudly served our country as a US Marine in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion, a retired truck driver, and enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends.

His family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio and the Dept of Veteran's Affairs for the excellent care given to Howard during his battle with cancer.

Howard's cremation is being handled by the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home
