Services for John Hill, 43, of 585 Maple Avenue, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the Henderson VanAtta and Johnston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hill died this morning at home. He was born April 8, 1946, in Newark to Ruby (Couden) Hill of Newark and the late John Franklin Hill.

He was employed by Owens Corning Fiberglas for over 20 years and was a member of the Heath Eagles, Masonic Lodge 720 and the GPPAW Local.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Hill; his mother; two sons: James Hill and J.D. Hill, both of the home; two daughters: Kerri Hill of the home and Mrs. Mark (Kim) Bachman of Newark; two sisters: Mrs. Dean (Janet) Boyer) or Thornville and Mary Frances Shumaker of Chattanooga, Tenn and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home where Masonic services will be at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
