Barbara Harvey Sowell May 16, 1943 - July 30, 2009

Barbara Harvey Sowell, 66, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Glencove Nuring Pavilion. She was born May 16, 1943 in Montgomery, West Virginia to Carmel B. and Marcella N. Harvey. She attended George Washington H.S. in Montgomery, West. Virginia, before transferring to Newark Senior H.S. in Newark, Oh., where she graduated in 1963. She had been a resident of Panama City for over 40 years, moving from Chicago, Illinois. She was a secretary for Sowell Aviation Company. She is survived by her son, Curtis T. McKinney; two daughters, Marcey K. Green, Jadonn N. Sowell; five grandchildren, Barbara Green, Bailey Green, Jaime Green, Bo Green, Sadie Moore; sister Chee Chee Seymour; two brothers, Clyde D. Harvey, and Bob J. Harvey and numerous nieces, nephews and the Sowell family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and brother Carmel B. Harvey Jr., William and Nadine Sowell founders of Sowell Aviation.
