Services for Carol S. (Mobley) Schaben, 46, of Waynesboro, PA, formerly of Newark, will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with the Rev. Dr. Donald G. Fishel officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.

Mrs. Schaben died May 30, 1993, in the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Md. She was born Nov. 11, 1946, in Barnesille, to Paul L. Mobley of Newark and Evelyn Lash, Ohio.

Raised by her paternal grandmother, Golda Mobley of Newark, she graduated from Newark High School in 1964 and was a member of the Methodist Church. She attended computer courses at various schools and moved to the Waynesboro area in 1987 after marriage. She was an avid bowler and helped many young people get started in bowling.

Surviving are her husband, Henry A. "Hank" Schaben; her parents; her grandmother; a daughter, Lynne S. Martos of Honolulu, Hawaii; three sons: Charles W. "Chuck" Schaben, Ryan M. Schaben and Adam C. Schaben, all of Waynesboro; three grandchildren; two sisters: Sandy Bolton and Pam Laudermilk, both of Newark; and a brother, William "Billy" Mobley of Millersport.
