Marion Hoover Pohle, age 65, of Newark, passed away on Friday, March 9th, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born September 1, 1946 in DeBois, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles F. and Marion "Betty" (Wilson) Hoover. She was a homemaker and mother, having resided most of her adult life in the greater Los Angeles, California area.
A graduate of Newark High School in 1964, she is survived by one brother, Bill and sister-in-law Karen Hoover of New Philadelphia; one son, Christopher of California; one niece, Denise Dawson; a nephew, David Hoover; and three grand-nieces of Tuscarawas County.
According to the family wishes, her body has been cremated and no services will be held. Those wishing to make a donation in remembrance of Marion or in respect of the family may do so to the Catholic Social Services, 575 Industrial Parkway, Heath, Ohio 43056 or to the charity of your choice.

I remember Marion as someone not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside, as well. She was in a lot of my classes and homeroom because both of our last names started with H. We talked about boys, clothes, and ....boys!
I passed a lot of notes to others from her and almost got caught more than one time. In one of our Biology classes we had to dissete a frog...between laughing and feeling sick to our stomaches, we got through it!
I am glad was able to have known her doing those years at NHS. May she rest in peace.
