August 11, 1946 - February 4, 2006

A funeral service for Linda K. (Southard) Meadows, 59, of Newark, will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Newark Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Linda went home to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2006 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. She was born August 11, 1946 to the late Francis and Anne (Home) Southard.

She was a member of the Newark Church of the Nazarene and she used to work for DFAS as an accounting tech.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Robert "Bob" Meadows, three children, Mark (Angela) Meadows of Etna, Cathy (Gary) Ryan of Blacklick, and James (Lucy) Meadows of Newark; eight sweet grandchildren she loved with all her heart, Taylor, Cassie, Rachel, Jared, Christopher, Mackenzie, Morgan and Madison; a sister, Mary Hone, of Lancaster; a brother, Don Hone of Newark; father-in-law, Roy Neadows, of Newark; a brother-in-law, Mike Meadows of Johnstown; a sister-in-law, Glenna Meadows of Newark; an aunt, Marion Pugh, of Heath; three nieces, Tricia (Dr. Shams) Khwaja, of California, Mary (Cave) Montgomery of Dayton and Ashley (John) Morgan, of Hanover; two great-nephews, Jakob and Drew, both of Hanover; and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Jean Ann Hone and her uncle, Bob Pugh, preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 200 S. Williams St., Newark.
