A celebration of life for Martha E Teagarden , 53, will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the Marne United Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery on Linnville Road.
Mrs. Teagarden, who had been employed by Shurtz Realtors, Newark Trust, and presently with Arwebb Office Supply, died April 9, 2000, at the Newark Healthcare Center. She was born October 10, 1946, to the late Charles D. and Frances Tavenger Teagarden. She was a 1964 graduate of Newark High School and attended OSU-Newark for two years. She was a member of the Marne United Methodist Church, where she served as Finance Secretary.
She is survived by her brother, David (Dorothy) Teagarden of Glenford; sisters , Virginia (Wallace) Melick and Beverly (Burl) Ashcraft of Newark, 11 nieces, 12 nephews, 2 step-nephews, 2 great step nieces, and 3 great step nephews.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service.

Marty was a dear and caring friend. I have great memories of our friends gathering in her garage, when we were in junior high, and playing music on her record player,way too loud, the Halloween "trouble" we got into, and keeping me informed about that special boy I liked.. Thank you, Marty for such great memories!
