Fellow Nerk Baby Boomers. I trust those who attend the reunion will share their journeys and hopefully, not too many Organ Recitals (whick organs like the kidneys and liver and such that are wearing out). My life jouneys have mostly been outside of the USA. I really enjoyed our 25th reunion. My focus is on consulting our great American military and families on identifying new jobs after they leave the military. My avocation is helping internation missionaries fulfill their mission goals of Helping Others in the Name of Jesus. We have active projects throughout the Far and South East Asia. If any are in this area, please contact me at 01182117198020. My email is BRIDGER46@HOTMAIL.COM Hoping to make 50th Reunion Grace and Peace, Chris Vaia

Happy Birthday Blessings from the Land of the Morning Calm. We hope your Mustang is smoking your competition. I remember the Grand National Trails. I think there used to be a Hillbilly type park with country western singers like Betty Lou from Ruth Lyons 50 50 Club out of Cincinnati. Your life sounds wonderful to do activities together. I attach a picture of Eun Young (Sally) with her right hand on my sholder and the Balloon Brother (me) with the balloon heart and Evil Kinevil type shirt. LOL We have several projects like this with homes for disabled and hospitals and nursing homes and wherever a Chaplain or other Faith Based leaders guid us towards. What became of Buckeye Lake after the amusement park closed. During my adventurous days, I used to sing in a bar out there. I think I may have been 16 but looked like over 21. Good Lord Willing, I shall catch up with your age in November. Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally)

Hallelujah Greetings Pastor Brother Terry, Our Good Lord seems to be accelerating the passing of each year. Congratulations on reaching 71 a little before me.LOL Is Corning near Nerk? While we are confident you know the following Christian prayer, it is good to always hear its sentiment: May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 May these words bring you peace of mind on your birthday. Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally) Seoul, Republic of Korea.

We send you and healthy and peaceful birthday greetings from the ROK. Did you hear this one: On some air bases the Air Force is on one side of the field and civilian aircraft use the other side of the field, with the control tower in the middle.
One day the tower received a call from an aircraft asking, "What time is it?"
The tower responded, "Who is calling?"
The aircraft replied, "What difference does it make?"
The tower replied, "It makes a lot of difference.
If it is an American Airlines flight, it is 3 o'clock.
If it is an Air Force plane, it is 1500 hours.
If it is a Navy aircraft, it is 6 bells.
If it is an Army aircraft, the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3.
If it is a Marine Corps aircraft, it's Thursday afternoon."

Greetings Don, I am glad that we are still trying to "bankrupt" Social Securit. LOL Over here in the ROK, I am often the oldest guy in the room. Kentucky guys are a bold stock so I guess you have a few eleders in your gruop of friends. Stay healthy and hope you are living some of the advice in Three Worthy Devotions Devote ourselves to loving others
Devote ourselves to the community around us
Devote ourselves to creating something that gives our lives purpose and meaning
Continued joy from the Land of the Morning Calm - South Korea. Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally) PS Photo is from a fellowship for disabled Koreans last Sunday at our Seoul Yongsan Garrison with the Hallelujah Balloon Brother (seated) and the Hallelujah Balloon Sister (behind me with her hand on my shoulder) My Brother - life is good.

Greetings Bob, Blessed Birthday regards from South Korea. We are looking forward to some more of your scenic pictures. Our out of country trips have included, in the last year. Italy and Austria and Germany and the Czech Republic and Thailand and Taiwan and Viet Nam. Most were a combination of humanitarian projects and leisure. We are both blessed, my brother, by having wonderful wives to share our lives together. Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally)

Blessed Christmas Greetings 2016 from the Land of the Morning Calm - South Korea,

All the best for the rest of this year and pending 2017. My Sally and I have dropped the word Retiree and continue to be blessed by opportunities to help others. I still do consulting work as an employment trainer for our US military leaving the service. It is rewarding, but our real full time mission is Helping Others in the Name of Jesus. Sally is a Social Worker with nursing homes and elder day care centers and homes for disabled. Holt Ilsan Town for about 250 disabled Koreans is very special to both of us. http://holtkorea.blogspot.kr/2010/03/ilsan-is-town.html I receive a monthly update from

www.simpletruths.com that provides encouraging books and videos. This little video celebrates mothers https://vimeo.com/150349844?from=outro-embed Those who choose to follow our Lord Jesus are a continuing reminder of how Mary and Joseph followed the plan of God.

Greetings Marsha, We saw your updated profile and wish to pass on a wonderful message we found recently. It was at a Korean Nursing Home here I am known as the Young Man. LOL A Korean lady in her 80s had this by her bed in English and Korean: A friend gave me this card today

“I’m There Inside Your Heart”

“Right now I’m in a different place

And though we seem apart,

I’m closer than I ever was…

I’m there inside your heart.

I’m with you when you greet each day

And while the sun shines bright,

I’m there to share the sunsets too…

I’m with you every night.

I’m with you when the times are good,

To share a laugh or two,

And if a tear should start to fall….

I’ll still be there for you.

And when that day arrives

That we no longer are apart,

I’ll smile and hold you close to me….

Forever in my heart.”

My reactions to this are mixed

It is nice (and I believe true) that he is in my heart, but I want him in my arms. Having just turned eighty four, I know it won’t be too long until that will also be true.
We send you this encouragement and remind you of one of my favorite James Bond movies: Never Say Never. Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally) Vaia Seoul, South Korea

Greetings Edwin, Way to go making it to 38 to retire. I started my Encore job(s) in 1997 after 30 years in the Army. Since you only did three years, I assume you joined. I got drafter, but fell in love with the vicarious living in places like Viet Nam and Cambodia and most other South East Asian countries. You appear to have a nice life. We are lucky to have wonderful wives to continue our journeys together. I still do a three day employment workshop with our military leaving the servie. It keeps me somewhat active and I don't become too much of a pain with my wife - Eun Young (Sally). If you ever visit South Korea, let us know. We would love to show a Fellow Nerkite the joys of Far East Asian living. Out main avocation is a Balloon Ministry of visiting hospitals and orphanages and nursing homes and ... Twisting balloons is wonderful. Helping Others in the Name of Jesus is our mission statement. My nickname at nursing homes in the "Young American man." LOL Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally)

Greetings Birthday Lady, Is it not amazing that we have reached our seventh decade of living? We trust you are enjoying good health and happiness. If anyone ever deserved it, it is you. I meet young and older women around the world who remind me of you. From your pure kindness and nice attempt to befriend the Rascal Chris Vaia of Nerk High days and to your enduring memory of a wonderful friend - are precious memories. I see you in my Granddaughters Jeni and Ashley and my wife - Eun Young, in her hospice and social welfare work and several who Help Others in the Name of Jesus. Our newest Hallelujah Sisters is Molly Holt. She is my slightly older Sister and this is harder and harder to find these days. LOL http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20111211000215 If you ever make it to our neck of the woods, you will be provided the best VIP services in experiencing the Far East Asia culture and exotic beauty. Be well and I know you have embraced the following for most of your life:
Devote yourself to loving others.
Devote yourstelf to your community around you.
Devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.

Grace and Peace, Chris and Eun Young (Sally)

Birthday Greetings Janice, Wow, you got married pretty much at graduation time. I congratulate you and Don for such a long successful marriage. Many of us were not as successful as yous. Our Good Lord brought a wonderful lady into my life five years ago. He also made me a much improved husband. My cousin Dan has his Family Pizza place still in Nerk. I thing my credit is good with him so, if you are in Nerk, get a pizza on me. LOL If you ever make it to South Korea, let us know. I have over 25 years here. I still do employment consulting and training for our US military returning to civilian life. Sally and I partner with several missions to Help Others in the Name of Jesus. We use a little Balloon Ministry to visit hospitals and orphanages and like organizations. Sally is the wonderful looking lady on the right of the Hallelujah Balloon Brother AKA Chris.
