Sandy passed away last Monday, November 28th., 2011 at about 6:00pm. She died from pancreatic cancer after being diagnosed September 2011.
She tried her best to beat this but couldn't maintain the strength she needed to win. She was able to see her family before passing, daughters Stephanie, Tiffany, and her step-son Dustin along with the grand-children, all 5 of them ! I was at her side along with our daughter Tiffany and her husband Kenny when she passed.
There will be no formal ceremony, but we will, later, announce a date when our family and friends will launch balloons of her favorite color, purple, skyward towards heaven in her memory. She was a beautiful woman, mother, friend and my lover/companion all these years and I and her family miss her so much !

I would like to thank all my fellow classmates who sent me and my family cards filled with their thoughts and prayers at Sandy's passing. It is very hard and I miss her so and probably always will.
